Editorial Policy
The rules behind every story.
These are the working rules of the newsroom. They apply to every article, comparison, brief, and guide on this site — and they are the reason you can verify us in one click.
The evidence is the authority
Leaderboards, papers, filings, and official announcements. We point to the public record — and link everything. Every claim in every article carries a link you can open yourself.
Official sources, primary data
Prices, parameter counts, context windows, licenses, benchmark scores, and release dates must be traceable to an official source page at publish time — verified in the same session as the write. Any figure that cannot be tied to an official page is omitted or explicitly labeled provisional.
Vendor claims get labeled
Launch-time benchmark numbers reported by the vendor are presented as vendor-reported, with official third-party verification (leaderboard rows, harness notes) attached where it exists. We document discrepancies; we do not adjudicate them in the vendor's favor.
Clean separation of money and words
Sponsors and partners buy slots, never verdicts. Coverage decisions are made without them, for any fee. Partnership placements are always labeled as such.
Errors get corrected, out loud
Factual corrections are published inside the original article, stamped with the date, and logged in the public corrections register. We never silently rewrite history. The updatedDate on every page reflects the honest last modification.
More signal, less theatre
No sea of hot takes and model-vs-model drama. We curate what matters and cut the rest — and where trackers disagree, we reconcile the numbers instead of amplifying the loudest one.
